Vers le contrôle de l'émergence par la coordination d'agents pour le partage de ressources critiques
Un mode de communication explicite sur la base d'un protocole véhiculant des concepts sémantiques de haut niveau n'est pas toujours la meilleure approche pour coordonner l'activité décentralisée d'un système multi-agents. Les insectes sociaux profitent en effet d'une communication par l'environnement (communication stigmergique), qui leur permet de coordonner leurs tâches globales sans contrôle centralisé. Dans cet article, nous décrivons et motivons une nouvelle approche pour élaborer des échanges complexes entre agents négociant à travers un réseau par stigmergie (CESNA : Complex Exchanges between Stigmergic Negotiating Agents), pour le partage de ressources critiques. Les comportements implémentés que nous présentons fournissent des résultats prometteurs à partir desquels nous proposons différents éléments d'analyse.
Explicit and high semantic level communications are not always the best approaches to coordinate the global system activity in the context of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS). Insect societies take advantage of a stigmergic way to communicate which does not require centralized control, but enable insects to coordinate their complex global tasks. In this paper, we describe and motivate a new approach to elaborate Complex Exchanges between Stigmergic Negotiating Agents (CESNA), for the critical resource sharing problem. We describe a negotiating network as a generic and suitable representation for the problem along with its implemented behaviours. We present some promising performance measures and attempt a first interpretation of how this decentralized system leads local behaviours to a global problem solution.
